Welcome to Jones
Family Aviary
Please take the time to browse through our website and please don't
forget to
sign our guestbook
and
view our guestbook
for
remarks from other budgie fanciers and take a look at a few snapshots
of the aviary and birds.
The
establishment of the Jones Family Aviary came about during the later
part of 1999, when an opportunity arose to fulfill a long time passion
of breeding budgerigars. Consequently, as a result of this passion we
started looking for a suitable club and in early 2000 we joined
Wynnum Redlands Budgerigar Society Inc
and have been members since.
Wynnum Redlands Budgerigar Society
would have to be one of the best
clubs in South East Queensland. The people share the same passion for
budgerigars and are the most friendliest of all the budgerigar clubs
that we have come across.
Wynnum Redlands Budgerigar Society
meet on the second Wednesday night of the month at Smith Street,
Cleveland. The doors open around 7pm, soon followed by a really
enjoyable lecture, Table Show and closed by Tea and Coffee, plus
everyone has a chat about Budgerigars.
In early 2008 with a thrust for knowledge we joined
The Hills District Branch of The Budgerigar
Society of NSW Inc. to share our passion of Budgerigars with other
individuals that share the same interests as us.
The Hills District Branch of The Budgerigar
Society of NSW Inc. meetings are held Fourth
Friday of each month at
North Rocks Community Centre, Corner North Rocks
Road & Farnell Avenue, North Rocks. The doors open around
8pm, meeting topics include, Table Show, Guest Lecturers, Advice on
Budgerigars and Supper is Provided.
We
currently live in the city of Logan, which is situated in Southeast
Queensland, Australia. The climate in Queensland is perfect for
breeding, with the most invitetable climates in Australia. The
temperature in subtropical summers is 21 to 37 degrees Celsius, and in
the sunny winters it is 8 to 20 degrees Celsius.
We
hope you enjoy your visit to our website and hope you come back real
soon.
